The nicotine in tobacco products is addictive. The power of nicotine addiction has been compared to cocaine, and other drugs. It causes such withdrawal symptoms such as insomnia,irritability, and nervousness. Drinking carbonated drinks causes an increase in someones craving for tobacco. Nicotine is classified as a drug, and once you get the first taste of nicotine,it can easily become a life-long addiction, with highly fatal consequences.
The average age a person starts smoking is at 13.The average person begins using smokeless tobacco/spit at around 112-25 years old. Most new tobacco users are adolencents,not adults. Each day, nearly 3,000 kids under the age of 18 try their first cigarette and another 700 become regular, daily smokers. About one-third of these smokers will die prematurely from a smoking-related disease.Children and teens are easy targets for the tobacco industry. They’re often influenced by TV, movies, the Internet, advertising, and by what their friends do and say. They don’t realize what a struggle it can be to quit.
Your blood pressure and pulse rates go back to normal after 20 minutes of no tobacco use. Many say there is no use in quitting once you already have started, but I say there is no point in starting tobacco use because of the damage it does to your body.
Nicotine is a stimulant. Stimulants speed your body up; they do not calm your body down. Plus, no other drug keeps a user as busy as smoking.
For instance: in a day, a 2 pack a day cigarette smoker spends 3 to 4 hours with a cigarette in his or her mouth,hand, or an astray. Remember there are many ways to relax without smoking. Such as, reading a book, watching football, or any tv or sports, working out, running, sleeping, doing homework, and many other things. Special note: Tobbaco users can suffer from nicotine poisning.   Carcinogens 

A carcinogen is a cancer causing substance. There are many examples of carcinogens in our environment. Most people are aware of the common carcinogens. These include tobacco and tobacco smoke, pesticides used to control bugs, asbestos, radon, and arsenic.the carcinogens change the molecule structure of the dna causing cancer inside the body , they make damaging and irreversible changes to a cells DNA. Carcinogens are things that make cancer worse by aggravating it. An example of one is a cigarette, the tobacco in the cigarette cause damage to your teeth and gums. Yellow teeth are one of the most notorious effects of long-term smoking, but the dental damage doesn’t stop there. People who smoke tend to develop gum disease, persistent bad breath, and other oral hygiene problems. Smokers are twice as likely to lose teeth as nonsmokers. Carcinogens  may cause cells to divide at a faster than normal rate, which could increase the chances that DNA changes will occur. Ten sources of carcinogens are: bromopropane, Acid mists,Aflatoxins,Aminobiphenyl,Aristolochic acid,Arsenic and inorganic arsenic compounds,Asbestos (all forms) and mineral substances (such as talc or vermiculite) that contain asbestos,Auramine production,Azathioprine.
